Rodeo Princess

For better or for worse, I have decided to succumb to the ever so powerful forces of American culture and society, and publish my very own blog. However, in order to get the monkey off my back from the get-go, I have one simple but important disclaimer: I make no guarentees that all or any content displayed is true. In fact, I would imagine that a significant portion of my writing will be partially exaggerated or even completely fabricated. With that being said I will enjoy reporting extremely quantitative statistics like "34% of Peruvians believe it's better to floss after you brush your teeth than before brushing" and in no way will I feel responsible for the utter embarrasment that one might suffer when reporting it back to a room full of Peruvian dentists.

But what is this blog really going to be about? Well, it might be easier to say first what I hope it does not become:
It will not be a meticulous journal of my life(thank god).
It will not be a mockery of blogs(already done that).
It will not be a means of expressing my mild to strong political views(though they may seep through the cracks).
It will not be a niche blog, like "hippies who love bluegrass."
Lastly, it will not be a blog that is constantly trying to identify itself(that's ironic).

I guess this is a blog about a little thing I like to call life. It's one of the few things we all have in common. That means this blog is about rodeo princesses, ice cream sundaes, and hyasinthe macaws.
